Our conditions :
- To
confirm a booking we require approximately one third deposit (to the nearest
£5).
- When a booking is taken on
the phone or email or land mail, it will be shown on the website as a provisional
booking for up to seven days or until the deposit is paid when it will be
displayed as 'booked'. Receipt of payment of the deposit will confirm the
booking.
- The balance
is due four weeks prior to arrival.
- If the booking
is made between four and eight weeks of the arrival date then the visitor
should decide whether to pay the full amount immediately or to make a deposit,
followed by the balance at four weeks.
- We do not offer
cancellation protection. If the client requires this assurance then this
may be arranged quite cheaply with their own insurers. Any reimbursements
we may give are entirely at our own discretion. Any cancellations will be recompensed, after deduction of any costs to us or reduction
in price, only if we are able to re-book after advertising that cancellation
on the internet.
- Bookings are from 3pm on the
day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure. No property may be occupied
by more than the number specified. The client agrees to leave the property
in the same clean & tidy condition as found upon arrival.
- Breakage costs
are the liability of the visitors. Small breakages will be at our discretion;
large, serious and negligent damages are entirely at the liability of the
visitor and must be paid for before departure. Any breakages or damage should
be reported to us immediately.
- Pets, well
behaved, are very welome. It is your responsibility to ensure that any pet
you bring is reliably house trained. Any carpet stains caused by a pet will
be considered as damage, so do
not bring newly acquired pets whose behaviour you cannot guarantee otherwise
liability may occur under the the previous paragraph.
- This is a small working
farm and any children must be well supervised by adults. We try to take all reasonable
precautions to prevent any danger to visitors, especially children, but
it is the responsibility of the adults to control any irresponsible or dangerous
behaviour. Children are welcome to the farm but must not, under any circumstances,
be allowed access to the working part of the farm without adult supervision.
- Although we do not
operate a total smoking ban, we expect smokers to respect susequent visitors
by only smoking outside.
